The Brief
Wave Multi Academy Trust (MAT) delivers education to pupils across Devon and Cornwall. They wanted a new website which would display the work of the trust while being a useful tool for parents, pupils and staff.
The Work
We worked with the clear brief given to us by the client to come up with a site that would appeal to a range of visitors - parents, staff, pupils and the general public while not appearing to be a generic educational website. There was a lot of information to go onto the site and we have tried to keep it functional and useful while also utilising contemporary and attractive design elements.
The Feedback
Wave Multi Academy Trust (MAT), which provides high quality education for pupils in Devon and Cornwall who have been excluded from school or who are not in school for medical reasons, has had the company website re-designed by Impress 51. The old website looked dated, many of the pages were full with limited options to add more information. Generally the site was difficult to navigate and information was hard to find. We contacted multiple website design agencies offering similar services at roughly the same cost and after careful consideration of the options we decided to employ Impress 51. They are a small, local business and just seemed to understand exactly how to transform the existing site to make it more ‘user friendly’. Since hiring Impress 51 we have had an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from our staff about the new design. Both Caroline and Jaz spent a lot of time getting to know our company and needs.
